Man Fu Yuan is the long-running Cantonese restaurant on Level 2 of the hotel on Middle Road formerly known as InterContinental Singapore, now Frasers House, a Luxury Collection Hotel. On weekends and public holidays it serves an à la carte dim sum buffet: more than 40 dishes ordered from the menu and brought to the table, rather than a self-service line.
Highlights include truffle crystal dumplings, crispy filo pastry prawns with wasabi aioli and tobiko, and a Hong Kong-style barbecued meat platter, alongside appetisers and classic Chinese desserts, with a selection of premium teas. The restaurant serves pork, so it is not suitable for halal diners.
There are two seatings, and a minimum of two adults is required. It works well for family gatherings and a leisurely Cantonese weekend lunch within walking distance of Bugis MRT. Book through SevenRooms and quote the promo code for the current discount.
