Champagne Superstar Brunch at Firangi Superstar

Firangi Superstar, the colonial-fantasy Indian restaurant on Craig Road in Tanjong Pagar, serves its Champagne Superstar Brunch on Saturdays only. The format is a set brunch: an 'Out of the Box' starter kit of canapé-style bites arrives in a wooden box, followed by a main and a rotating dessert.

Dishes have included caviar puri, sesame murukku with salmon or beetroot mousse, Madras fried chicken on a prata waffle, baked eggs with keema pav and a steak-and-eggs option at a supplement. Desserts rotate between the likes of strawberry shortcake, rum chocolate cake and carrot cake with cardamom frosting. Vegetarian alternatives are available.

The base price covers food only; the free-flow upgrade adds 2.5 hours of Champagne (brut and rosé), house wines, brunch cocktails, beer, soft drinks and masala chai, and a higher tier with premium Champagne is also offered. It is best for couples and friends' celebrations; Tanjong Pagar and Maxwell MRT stations are nearby.
