The Dempsey Cookhouse & Bar at COMO Dempsey is Jean-Georges Vongerichten's Singapore flagship, a space with checkerboard floors, pendant lamps and an open kitchen. On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays it serves brunch from 11.30am, with both an à la carte menu and a three-course set brunch.
The set brunch offers starters such as sweet pea guacamole, crispy calamari and corn soup, mains like avocado toast, eggs Benedict, spiced French toast with caramelised apples, buttermilk pancakes and crispy macaroni and cheese, then desserts such as almond cake or passion fruit meringue tart; some dishes carry a supplement. The à la carte menu adds signatures such as crispy salmon sushi and wood-fired tiger prawns with yuzu kosho.
Two-hour free-flow packages cover Prosecco, wines, beer and spirits, or Billecart-Salmon Champagne. There is pet-friendly outdoor seating as well as indoor tables, and the menu includes pork. Book via SevenRooms.
