The Coastal Settlement occupies a former Royal Air Force building in the old Changi military base, surrounded by greenery and filled with vintage memorabilia. On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays its brunch menu runs from 9am to 5pm, so there is no rush.
The Weekend Issue brunch menu covers Western breakfast favourites, including the Settlement's big breakfast, smashed avocado and crab, pulled-pork eggs Benedict on a croissant, salmon and rösti, steak and eggs and a chicken croffle. Local dishes include TCS crayfish laksa, Hokkien mee, nasi lemak and wagyu or seafood hor fun, alongside burgers, pastas and sharing plates such as wagyu cubes and a cheese and charcuterie platter. A children's menu is available.
It suits families and anyone heading out to Changi Village; there is a private car park on site and a free public car park nearby on Turnhouse Road. Book via TableCheck.
