Pondok Indah & South Jakarta

Pondok Indah and the wider south of Jakarta, including Kebayoran Baru, Cilandak, TB Simatupang and Kuningan's southern fringe, are home to many of the city's families and expatriates. The InterContinental Pondok Indah, Mövenpick-area hotels and the malls around Pondok Indah host popular Sunday brunches, while the district's restaurants offer relaxed weekend menus. Brunches in the south tend to be family-oriented, with kids' corners, halal or pork-free spreads and strong bank-card promotions, and they avoid the drive into the Golden Triangle. The area is best reached by car or ride-hailing, with the Lebak Bulus and Fatmawati MRT stations serving its western edge.
